Registrations for the 2009-2010 Season will be:

Scott Park’s “Jack’s Juveniles” juvenile team won the Alliance Provincial Championship held in Brantford April3-5, 2008. The team went undefeated beating  Brantford, Cambridge, Sarnia, & St. Catharines before beating Kitchener in the finals 3-2. This is the first House league provincial championship for Scott Park in many years.  Walter Gretzky was on hand for the award presentation and team photo. Congratulations !

Drew Schiestel, a product of Scott Park Community Hockey signed an NHL entry level contract with the Buffalo Sabres on the weekend. A second round draft pick of the Sabres in 2007, Drew signed a 3-year contract worth a minimum of $500,000 US plus a signing bonus.

Drew began  playing hockey at Scott Park in our hockey school program and our pre-novice and novice program. He also played for Scott Park Atom team in the Hamilton City HUB league  before moving on to the AAA level. He was drafted by the Niagara Ice Dogs of the OHL in 2005 and played 4 seasons with the team.

For the upcoming 09/10 season, we are introducing the Sign Up a Friend program. For each new registration that an existing member brings to Scott Park for the 09/10 season, they will receive a $25 rebate* off their own registration to a maximum of 6 new registrations per member**

That's a savings of up to $150 !!

*New hockey school registrations receive a $10 rebate
**The existing member's registration and the new registrations must be paid in full by October 31, 2009 in order to qualify.

Information with respect to proposed changes in minor hockey in Hamilton for the 2009-2010 season will be on the agenda.

Other issues relevant to SPCH will also be discussed.

All SPCH members are encouraged to attend.

January 6th at 7:30pm.
Hockey School to play at Copps Coliseum on Wednesday February 4th at 7:30pm.
